Deep Healing Retreats

Sad woman in need of a deep healing retreatAre you feeling world-weary? Stressed-out to the max? Perhaps you feel as if you are no longer in control of your life – rather you are going through the motions, hoping (and praying) for a way out of the muddle you have found yourself in? Then a Deep Healing Retreat may be the best way to restore peace to your mind, body and spirit. This type of retreat is ideal for you if one or more of the following is true:

  • You're really stressed-out, possibly close to a burn-out
  • It feels like you are on an emotional roller-coaster where a past or current event keeps playing over-and-over in your mind
  • You feel unloved and hurt due to an affair, betrayal or divorce
  • You are run-down, weary and have lost your appetite for life
  • You keep hitting a brick wall and you don't understand why

What happens during a Deep Healing Retreat?

During your stay with me at my home, The Jasmine House, I will be your coach, healer, friend, guide and teacher. For the first 3 days of this exclusive retreat, my time is given completely to helping you recover, restore, relax and refresh yourself so that you go away feeling much stronger and feeling better—ready to face your world once more.

The Deep Healing Retreat is for 4 nights. The first afternoon and evening as well as the next 2 days are spent doing intensive healing. My time is completely given to you in these first 3 days. Our days will be spent talking and healing, walking and taking meals together. I want for you to refind your inner peace and to laugh again. My intuition will guide me as to which approach will work the best for you: often it weaves together Life Coaching, EFT, Emotional Healing and life skills teachings. I will take you on a journey of rediscovery—back to the real you so you can once more see where your path needs to go.

On your 4th day here, we will begin to wrap up your time with a final formal session in the morning. After lunch together your afternoon is free to relax or have further treatments with other therapists (see schedule below).

As part of this retreat I believe engaging in nature's healing powers, so we will take early morning walks (matched to your fitness levels) along the beach, up to Tophill, or across the meadows to soothe your soul. I will make simple but tasty, nutritious food that we will enjoy together. I can teach you how to prepare these dishes—or you can simply choose to be nurtured in this way. And every evening we will do meditation together in the Sky Room.

The meadow room where guests stay during their deep healing retreatsDuring your retreat, your room will be the Meadow Room. It's a large room facing south-east, looking out over the garden. In the morning, sunlight floods through the large Georgian windows. But you are not confined to your room! My home is yours during your stay, so you can relax in the lounge, and if the weather allows, sit in the garden or watch the sun-set from the roof terrace. In the kitchen, make yourself a cup of tea, a snack or cook your evening meal. Staying at The Jasmine House is healing in it's own right.

The schedule for Deep Healing Retreats

Deep Healing Retreats start on a Thursday, Friday or Saturday

Day 1. Arrive at lunchtime. I will show you around and help your settle into your new home-from-home. In the afternoon we will look at what you wish to achieve during your stay and begin your healing journey. I will also go through with you your Ayurvedic Dosha to help you understand which foods suit your body type. Early in the evening we will meditate and then walk down to beach for a evening meal at Quiddles or The Cove Inn.

Days 2 & 3. Day 2 begins with an early morning walk. Breakfast will be a highly nutritious meal – perhaps radically different from what you usually eat, but very tasty too. During the morning and afternoon I will help you 'dive-in' with whatever it is that you wish to let-go-of, heal, understand and/or find a new solution. During our time together I will use whichever coaching, healing methods and tools are the best for you. I will also share with you my knowledge and wisdom on healthy living and being happy. If you are interested, I can show how I prepare lunch (a main meal) using natural, health-giving ingredients – or you may simply enjoy being nurtured in this way. We will finish our day together with a meditation session. In the evening you can simply chill-out here, make yourself a light meal or visit one of the local restaurants and cafes. Day 3 follows the same schedule—but going even deeper into what needs to be resolved and let go of.

Day 4. The begin begins in the same way as days 2 and 3, followed by your last wrap up session in the morning. After lunch you are free to do what you wish. You can chill and relax here, explore the island, visit the Ocean Spa or have a massage/reflexology session here with a local therapist (let me know on booking: please note this is dependent on the local therpaist's diaries).

Day 5. A final walk in the morning (if you wish) followed by breakfast. We will then say our goodbyes and departure is by 11 am.
