From 7 am to 6 pm my time is completely dedicated to you. I want for you to refind your inner peace and to laugh again. My intuition will guide me as to which approach will work the best for you: often it weaves together Life Coaching, EFT, Empathic Healing and life skills teachings. I will take you on a journey of rediscovery—back to the real you so you can once more see where your path needs to go.
I am a great believer in nature's healing powers, so we will take early morning walks (matched to your fitness levels) along the beach, up to Tophill, or across the meadows to soothe your soul. I will make simple but tasty, nutritious food that we will enjoy together. I will arrange for you to have a massage or reflexology or other body pampering session and we will visit the local spa to take a sauna, enjoy the steam room, jacuzzi and swimming pool. Early evening we will meditate to help you deeply relax and enable you to be at peace once more.
During your stay, your room will be the Meadow Room. It's a large room facing south-east, looking out over the garden. In the morning, sunlight floods through the large Georgian windows. But you are not confined to your room! My home is yours during your stay, so you can relax in the lounge, and if the weather allows, sit in the garden or watch the sun-set from the roof terrace. In the kitchen, make yourself a cup of tea, a snack or cook your evening meal. Staying at The Jasmine House is healing in it's own right.
Day 1. Arrive anytime from 11 am onwards. I will show you around and help your settle into your new home-from-home. I will prepare a light lunch for us both. In the afternoon we will look at what you wish to achieve during your stay. I will also take you through an Ayurvedic Body Typing exercise to gain some guidelines on how to best structure your meals during your stay. Early in the evening we will meditate and then walk down to beach for a evening meal at Quiddles or The Cove Inn.
Days 2 & 3. The days begin with an early morning walk. Breakfast will be a high nutritious meal – perhaps radically different from what you usually eat, but very tasty too. During the morning and afternoon I will help you 'dive-in' with whatever it is that you wish to let-go-of, heal, understand and/or find a new solution to. During our time together I will use whichever coaching and healing methods and tools are the best for you. I will also share with you my knowledge and wisdom on healthy living and being happy. If you are interested, I can show how I prepare lunch (a main meal) using natural, health-giving ingredients – or you may simply enjoy being catered for. We will finish our day together with a meditation session. In the evening you can simply chill-out here, make yourself a light meal or visit one of the local restaurants and cafes.
Day 4. The first half of the day will follow the same format as days 2 and 3: early morning walk / breakfast / coaching and healing, followed by a healthy lunch. In the afternoon you will receive a treatment of your choice by a local therapist: full body sports massage, reflexology, homeopathic assessment, or nutritional therapy. Read more about the therapists. Optionally, we can also visit the Ocean Spa where you can take a 1-hour beauty and relaxation session. In the evening, again we will end the day with a meditation session.
Day 5. Depending on your preference, the time of year, weather and your fitness we will either walk along the coastal path down to Portland Bill (it takes just over 2 hours ) or we will spend time at the Ocean Spa in the pool, sauna, jacuzzi, steam room and swimming pool, or I will arrange for you to have a pampering session with one of the Ocean Spa’s beauty therapists. We will have lunch at either the Lobster Pot at Portland Bill or at White Stones Art Gallery Cafe in Easton. In the afternoon, we will come back to the coaching and healing, noticing what has changed and shifted already during your stay. In the evening again we will meditate once more.
Day 6. Lie in or one last walk? It’s up to you! After breakfast, we will have a final wrap-up to tie up any loose ends and help you prepare to step back into your own world but taking with you tools and ways to stay more relaxed, healthier and happier. Departure is usually around 11 am.
The cost for a Recovery Retreat
The cost for a Recovery Retreat is £2,350. This includes: my time dedicated to you from early morning to early evening; your accommodation; breakfasts and a main meal at lunch time; your evening meal on the first night; lunch out on day 5, plus 1 or 2 sessions with a local therapist and/or time at the Ocean Spa on days 4 and 5.
What isn't included: Your travel costs to Portland (if coming by train I can pick you up and take you back to Weymouth station), your evening meals on nights 2–5, and any medicines or tests recommended by the therapist you see on day 4.
