Terms and conditions for booking or cancelling

Please make sure that you are happy with these terms and conditions of your retreat before booking.

BEFORE BOOKING – IMPORTANT – PLEASE READ

Due to Coronavirus, there have been some changes at The Jasmine House. Please read Retreats taken during the pandemic. ONLY book if you are happy with how the retreats will be run during this time. If you have any questions, email me or call me on 01305 821799.

PAYING THE DEPOSIT

A £95 deposit confirms and holds the dates for your retreat. This is non-returnable unless I have to cancel your retreat, in which case this and any other money paid, will be returned to you.

PAYMENT OF THE BALANCE

Payment of the balance is due 3 weeks before you arrive. This may be paid by credit/debit card via my secure payment page Pay for your Retreat. Alternatively, if you wish to pay directly by Bank Transfer, please let me know and I will send you the relevant details.

CANCELLING YOUR RETREAT – CORONAVIRUS UPDATE

If you become ill with Coronavirus after paying for your retreat, please call me as soon as you can on 01305 821799 or email me to either reschedule your dates, or to request a refund of the balance payment. I am offering this as most travel insurance does not yet cover coronavirus and I want for you to be able to book with confidence.

If you wish to cancel MORE than 3 weeks in advance (more than 22-days before your arrival date), any money paid will be returned, less your deposit.

If you cancel with LESS than 3 weeks notice (21-days before your arrival date), with the exception of becoming ill with Coronavirus (as above), no refund of your payment will be made unless I am able to find a replacement booking for your dates. Please know this is highly unlikely with such short notice. Please consider taking out TRAVEL INSURANCE to cover this possibility.

RESCHEDULING YOUR RETREAT

If you wish to reschedule your retreat more than 3 weeks in advance, your deposit and any other money paid can be carried forward to your new dates. If you wish to reschedule with less than 3 weeks notice, (again with the exception of coronavirus as above) this will lead to no refund of your payments as these dates were reserved for you and this stopped anyone else from booking.

If I have to cancel your booking, all monies will be returned to you. For more than 10 years, this had never happened until the coronavirus outbreak. When lockdown affected bookings, all future retreat bookings were refunded in full. If a future lockdown occurs, all future bookings will be refunded in full – including the deposit.

Please note: any refunds do not include any incurred travel costs.
