Terms and conditions for booking or cancelling

Please make sure that you are happy with these terms and conditions of your retreat before booking.

BEFORE BOOKING – IMPORTANT – PLEASE READ

13th March 2022. For the last two years, in between lockdowns and other travel restrictions, I have honoured last minute cancellations due to a positive test for COVID. I either refunded these bookings or rescheduled them despite the financial loss to me. During this 2-year period, I wanted to offer this, because it felt like the right thing to do in such difficult times. Now, we have reached the point of ‘living-with’ the virus, I can no longer offer such refunds or last minute rescheduling. So my terms and conditions are reverting to pre-COVID times.

So, PLEASE take out travel insurance to cover a cancellation for any reason less than 3-weeks (21 days) before your arrival date. AND ONLY book if you are happy with these terms and conditions. If you have any questions or queries, please email me or call me on 01305 821799.

PAYING THE DEPOSIT

A £95 deposit confirms and holds the dates for your retreat. This is non-returnable unless I have to cancel your retreat, in which case this and any other money paid, will be returned to you.

PAYMENT OF THE BALANCE

Payment of the balance is due 3 weeks before you arrive. This may be paid by credit/debit card via my secure payment page Pay for your Retreat. Alternatively, if you wish to pay directly by Bank Transfer, please let me know and I will send you my details.

CANCELLING YOUR RETREAT

If you wish to cancel MORE than 3 weeks in advance (more than 22-days before your arrival date), any money paid will be returned, less your deposit.

If you cancel with LESS than 3 weeks notice (21-days before your arrival date), no refund of your payment will be made unless I am able to find a replacement booking for your dates. Please know this is highly unlikely with such short notice.

Please consider taking out TRAVEL INSURANCE to cover this possibility.

RESCHEDULING YOUR RETREAT

If you wish to reschedule your retreat more than 3 weeks in advance, your deposit and any other money paid can be carried forward to your new dates. If you wish to reschedule with less than 3 weeks notice, then your original booking still has to be paid in full and the new booking will also need to be paid for, again 3 weeks before the new arrival date.

If I have to cancel your booking, all monies will be returned to you. For more than 10 years, I had never cancelled a retreat until the full Coronavirus lockdown in March 2020. At this time, I refunded in full all of my future bookings.

Please note: any refunds DO NOT include any incurred travel costs—no matter why the planned retreat can not go ahead.

Please consider taking out TRAVEL INSURANCE to cover this possibility.
